Sustainability at Lavea

For us at Lavea, sustainability is not a short-term trend but an ongoing process. We are continuously working to make our products, packaging, and processes more responsible – with a focus on the environment, resources, and long-lasting quality.

In doing so, we pursue an honest and pragmatic approach: We transparently communicate what we are already implementing today and develop step by step.

Our textiles and home accessories are designed to last you as long as possible. High-quality materials, careful craftsmanship, and timeless designs contribute to extending the lifespan of our products – because long-term use is a central factor for greater sustainability.

Materials & Certifications

When selecting our materials, we focus on quality, suitability for everyday use, and responsible standards. Many of our products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and are therefore tested for harmful substances.

This ensures that the textiles used are harmless to health and comply with common environmental and safety requirements. Detailed material information can be found directly with the product.

Responsible Packaging

When it comes to packaging, we also ensure a conscious use of resources:

Wherever possible, we use biodegradable or recyclable packaging materials
We avoid unnecessary over-packaging and focus on functional, streamlined solutions
Packaging is sized to securely protect the product while taking up as little volume as possible

CO₂ Reduction in Transport

Lower shipping volume also means fewer emissions. That's why we specifically optimize our packaging so that it:

Efficiently utilizes available space
Better optimizes transport routes
Reduces CO₂ emissions during shipping

The same applies here: every centimeter of packaging saved contributes to a better overall balance.
